In addition to its three museum ships—the icebreaker Tarmo, the lighthouse ship Kemi, and the inspection vessel Saimaa—the Maritime Museum of Finland is responsible for Finland’s largest collection of boats. The Maritime Museum’s collections also include the sailing pilot cutter Pitkäpaasi. Other museum boats are on display in the boat hall at the Maritime Center Vellamo, in the outdoor exhibition area Kuuri, as well as in the Vellamo courtyard and at the museum pier.
