The management of the National Museum of Finland’s collections is based on the museum’s collections policy. Caring for the national collections, preserving collection objects and providing digital services are at the core of our work, both at the collections centre and at our museums and visitor attractions, as well as in digital environments.
The national collections are stored at the Collections and Conservation Centre, where objects are kept under appropriate and controlled conditions. The Centre has modern conservation facilities and new facilities for visiting researchers.
Part of the National Museum of Finland’s extensive collections has been made digitally accessible to the public through our Digital Collection and the Finna service.
