The Maritime Museum of Finland´s Support Association
The purpose of the association is to support the activities of the Maritime Museum of Finland, to raise public awareness of maritime traditions and to increase interest in maritime history. To achieve these aims, the association carries out information and publishing activities, launches initiatives, makes proposals, issues statements, organises meetings and training events, and collaborates with other maritime associations.

Friends of Vellamo Association
The aim of the Friends of Vellamo Association is to raise awareness of the Vellamo Maritime Centre in Finland and abroad, to support its development, and to promote public understanding of the Vellamo Maritime Centre’s activities.

The Finnish Association for Maritime History
The Finnish Association for Maritime History is a learned society open for all. It organizes trips, lectures, and the Maritime History Days. The association edit the Nautica Fennica yearbook in cooperation with the Finnish Heritage Agency. The association is a member of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies and the Finnish Association for Scholarly Publishing.

The Maritime Archaeological Society of Finland
Maritime Archaeological Society of Finland (MAS(ulkoinen linkki)) is a scientific society open to all. It was founded in 1995 with the aim of promoting research into underwater cultural heritage, its conservation, and related educational and recreational activities.
