On display in the room are artifacts found during excavations in the courtyard area of Louhisaari, such as a spoon made of a mixture of copper and tin stamped by Johan Grönblad of Viipuri (active 1729–1760), a bottle stamp from the Avik glassworks in Somero, fragments of a clay pipe, a thimble, and a cross pendant. Also on display is a land exchange agreement signed by Admiral Claes Fleming in 1642.
The open hearth represents a heating method that was commonly used in Sweden during the 17th century and even into the early 18th century. The stove is tall, narrow, and unadorned, except for a single-layer molding along the upper edge. The stove’s austere appearance can likely be explained by the fact that it is located in the service quarters, which were originally used by the servants.
