Tamminiemi accepts the Museum Card(ulkoinen linkki), Helsinki Card(ulkoinen linkki) and Helsinki City Pass(ulkoinen linkki).
Independent visits to the museum by school groups are free of charge for the whole group. The group can visit the museum independently during the opening hours. Inform us of your visit in advance: tamminiemi@kansallismuseo.fi.
We organise public guided tours in Finnish on weekends and, from early April to the end of September, from Wednesday to Sunday. An English-language guided tour is available every Saturday at 13.00 from June to August. Public guided tours are included in the price of the museum ticket.
Café Adjutant is open during the museum’s opening hours. However, please check the café’s opening hours separately, as exceptions may apply.

Tamminiemi is located in the Meilahti district, approximately 4 km west of Helsinki city centre.
By public transport: HSL bus 24, terminus Seurasaari (approx. 20 minutes from Helsinki city centre). Please check the timetable for departure times before your visit.

There is a limited number of parking spaces in front of the museum’s main gate and next to the Seurasaari bridge. Parking is restricted to a maximum of four hours.
Coaches can park along Tamminiementie.
