The restaurant building “Lilla Villan” is closed during renovation, however a container café in the museum’s garden serves customers again in the summer of 2026.
The products are connected to the history of Hvitträsk, drawing inspiration from recipes by Eliel Saarinen’s wife, Loja Saarinen, discovered in the archives. For example, visitors can try Loja’s famous blueberry pie.

The garden’s container café is open to the public from 30 May to 31 July, Wednesday to Sunday from 11.00–17.00. Closed during heavy rain.
In August and September, the café is open on Saturdays and Sundays from from 11.00–17.00, weather permitting. Opening hours can be confirmed by calling the café.
