Children’s own guided tours in Finnish
Help Maria find her childhood family home! The tour takes place both outside and inside the museum buildings.
The duration is approximately 45-50 minutes. The recommended age for the tour is 4-8 years. Children joining the tour must be accompanied by their own adult.
Children’s own guided tours start at Iisalmi parsonage, please sign up for the tour on the same day by the museum shop. Children under 18 have free admission to the museum.
17th June – 31st July every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 12 pm (in Finnish)
In August on Saturdays at 12 pm
Children’s own workshops, Ivars
Create your own souvenir from the museum visit. The non-stop workshop has varying themes during the summer. (June-July)
On Wednesdays starting on June 18th. (until July 30th)
Running time 2 pm – 4 pm
No sign up needed. Children must be accompanied by their own adult. Included in the museum ticket.
Children’s summer loft, Kurssi
The children’s summer loft invites you to play! The loft is open from June 1st to August 31st in the courtyard area of the Kurssi farmstead. The
toys in the loft are free to use.
Museum ticket required.
Hobby-horsing and other activities at Kahiluoto manor (from 1.6 onwards)
- Choose your steed and tackle the obstacles in the yard of Kahiluoto Manor House
- Try out historical clothing
- Play croquet
- Set up a tea table
