Court Jester’s Room

13.10.2026 11:00 — 18.10.2026 15:30

The Court Jester’s Room is an interactive and immersive space designed for children, where history comes to life through play and exploration. The interactive elements are the castle, the village, physical activities and dressing up. Children can try out medieval life for themselves by, for example, building a castle wall, climbing onto a horse’s back and dressing up in medieval costume.

On the wall of the Court Jester’s Room, you can catch a glimpse of the court jester, modelled on a jester drawn on a medieval brick on the third floor of the castle.

The Court Jester’s Room is intended for children aged approximately 4–9. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. Children under 7 can enter the Court Jester’s Room free of charge; those aged 7–18 and adults are charged the standard admission fees, which grant access to the entire castle.

The Court Jester’s Room is open Tue–Fri 13–16 October from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm and Sat–Sun 17–18 October from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm.
