The Autumn Fires will once again be blazing in Savonlinna from 4 to 6 September. In the vicinity of Olavinlinna Castle, you can experience the Middle Ages, markets, music, witches, knights and fire, amongst other things. As a new feature, strongmen will take over Olavinlinna Castle: the St. Olaf’s Strongman Competition will be held at the castle for the first time.
Olavinlinna Castle is open according to its normal opening hours from 10.00 to 16.00, and the usual admission fees apply. Guided tours for the public are held in Finnish at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.00 and 15.00, and in English at 11.00, 12.00, 14.00 and 15.00.
