The abundance of unusual and strange items inspires you to think about their stories, consumption and our own relationship to objects. To whom did the abandoned toy cars and candy boxes belong? What did the photographs and plastic Jesus sculptures mean to their owners? Where do all our things go when we cease to exist? The items found in various countries are directly connected to the culture around them but the exhibition also gives them broader meaning and a connection to historical world events.
